Vita

Heidi Krömker ist Dekanin des Studienganges Game Design & Production (B.Sc.) sowie Professorin für Medienproduktion & User Experience Management an der Euro-FH.

Nach ihrem Studium der Soziologie promovierte sie an der Universität Bamberg auf dem Gebiet der Softwareergonomie. Sie startete ihre industrielle Tätigkeit als Trainee der Siemens AG, um dann als Fachzentrumsleiterin der Corporate Technology der Siemens AG das Thema User Interface Design im Konzern zu verankern und die Usability Labore in China (Beijing), USA (New York/Princeton) und Deutschland (München) zu gründen.

Von 2001 bis 2021 war sie als Universitätsprofessorin an der Technischen Universität Ilmenau für das Fachgebiet Medienproduktion und UX-Engineering verantwortlich. Sie ist Mitglied des Editorial Boards des International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction, Mitglied des Programmboards der Human Computer Interaction (HCI) und Program Chair der International Conference on HCI in Mobility, Transport and Automotive Systems.
